Plastic in the sea, the solution is on land

The project aimed to document the sources of pollution in Tunisia’s waterways and coastal areas through photos and videos, with the aim of raising awareness among citizens and policy makers.
- A tour of coastal cities made it possible to collect photos and videos of polluted sites, with above-average quality and number of contributions.
- Awareness-raising videos were made and a PowerPoint presentation was prepared.
- 10 awareness-raising workshops on plastic pollution were organized for middle and high school students.
- 26 one-hour radio programs addressed plastic pollution.
- An hour-long televised debate was broadcast on the first national channel, with the participation of the Director General for the Environment.
