MAVA Foundation

MAVA was born of the passion, vision and adventure of one man, its founder, Luc Hoffmann.

Created in 1994 to support the conservation of emblematic sites such as the Camargue and Doñana, MAVA has gradually become a professional foundation and a major funder of conservation worldwide.

Prince Albert II Foundation

In June 2006, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco decided to create His Foundation in order to respond to the worrying threats to our planet’s environment. The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation works to protect the environment and promote sustainable development on a global scale. The Foundation supports initiatives by public and private organisations in the fields of research, technological innovation and socially aware practices. The Foundation funds projects in three main regions and focuses its actions on three main areas.

IUCN, International Union for Conservation of Nature

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is a union of member governments and civil society organizations. It provides public, private and non-governmental organizations with the knowledge and tools they need to ensure that human progress, economic development and nature conservation are achieved in harmony.

Tara Ocean Foundation

The first foundation in France to be recognised as promoting the public interest dedicated to the ocean, founded by Agnès Troublé called agnès b. in 2003 and chaired by Etienne Bourgois, the Tara Ocean Foundation is leading a scientific revolution around this ecosystem.

With its associated scientific consortia, it is developing innovative and original open ocean science which, in the future, will enable us to predict anticipate and better understand climate risks and better protect biodiversity.

Surfrider Foundation Europe

Surfrider Foundation Europe is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the protection and enhancement of lakes, rivers, the ocean, waves and coastlines. Founded in 1990 by a group of local surfers, it now has over 12,000 members and operates in 9 countries through its volunteer branches.

The Aether Fund for Future Generations, which was set up in 2018, supports innovative projects, notably led by societal entrepreneurs, that combat the degradation of marine and river environments, which are under ever-increasing pressure in terms of pollution and overexploitation.

The Veolia Foundation is involved in humanitarian emergencies and development aid, protection of the environment and biodiversity, and support for employment and social integration. It operates via two levers: financial support and skills sponsorship.

The Southern Region (France) is actively working to preserve its exceptional natural heritage. With its 9 nature parks and 1,000 km of coastline, it is committed to protecting biodiversity, particularly posidonia at sea, and raising awareness of the risk of forest fires. It also encourages rational management of resources, particularly water, to guarantee a sustainable future for its residents and visitors.

The Vilebrequin Foundation is committed to protecting the oceans by raising public awareness, investing in research and encouraging the development of innovative technologies.

Aware of the urgent need to preserve the ocean, the Kresk Développement Group and its cosmetics brands (SVR, Lazartigue and FILLMED), chaired by Didier TABARY, a sailing legend and lover of the sea, launched the KRESK 4 OCEANS endowment fund in June 2021 to ensure that the sea remains the most beautiful place on Earth.
