Every year, BeMed provides financial support to local stakeholders for one to two years to implement concrete actions against plastic pollution. In 2026, 12 initiatives across the Mediterranean were selected to raise public awareness and drive change.

Beyond funding, BeMed fosters collaboration by encouraging dialogue, knowledge-sharing and the establishment of a strong network of committed actors working to reduce plastic in the Mediterranean.
