This study analyzes the regulatory frameworks governing plastic waste management in several Mediterranean countries with diverse institutional and economic contexts, namely Montenegro, Morocco, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, and Algeria. The objective is to assess the degree of legal structuring of plastic waste management systems, analyze their regulatory content, and identify areas for improvement in light of regional and European frameworks.
