This project addresses environmental pollution in Montenegro, worsened by a drop in tourism and poor waste management. The neglected Gracanica River, which flows into the Mediterranean, is a key focus.

Actions include:

A local survey linking waste practices to health and quality of life,
Seven cleanup events with plastic waste analysis,
Awareness campaigns targeting the public, businesses, and decision-makers,
Advocacy for stronger waste laws and national recognition of Gracanica’s ecological importance.

The goal is to drive systemic change and promote responsible waste management across Montenegro.
