Youth for a clean Adriatic

The goal of the project “Youth for a clean Adriatic” is to develop a network of businesses, local governments, inspiring individuals and other organizations that will set up the movement for a free-from-plastic Montenegro through education, activism and cultural-awareness campaigns. The project plans to:

  • Create a certification program for businesses that commit to a plastic free tourism and other seaside industry;
  • Organize educational workshops and lectures about the dangers of single-use plastics, the need for waste reduction on a national scale with a primary focus on youth education age between 13 and 30;
  • Participate in cultural-awareness raising campaigns that will bring the problem of plastic and waste management to the forefront through active cultural participation approaches;
  • Organize a number of hands-on, on the ground coastal and underwater clean-ups that will contribute to a cleaner Montenegro Adriatic Sea ecosystem.

With our partners, Zero Waste Montenegro, ‘NGO Our Action’ continues the campaign on zero waste, plastic bag reduction and recycle-reuse efforts in Montenegro.
