The “Adopt-a-Beach” measures comprise of actions related to beach cleaning/ disposal and marine litter surveying programmes with an overall scope to help Mediterranean people to care about their coastline and clean it; to raise public awareness on the threat posed by marine litter; as well as to support the national marine litter monitoring programs.
